What WCAG version is used?+

WCAG 2.x relative luminance formula for sRGB colors. Opaque colors only in this version.

What are the AA and AAA thresholds?+

AA: 4.5:1 normal text, 3:1 large text. AAA: 7:1 normal text, 4.5:1 large text.

Can I copy the results?+

Yes. Copy the full results, the ratio alone, or a CSS color/background snippet.

Do transparent colors affect the ratio?+

This version evaluates opaque sRGB colors only. Semi-transparent text over varied backgrounds needs manual flattening to a solid pair first.

What counts as large text for WCAG?+

18pt regular or 14pt bold and larger qualify as large text, which has lower AA and AAA thresholds than body copy.
